Cross Country Results

Red Raider Run boys varsity 3.00: Trace Ward of Poughkeepsie finished 70th in 20:04.27.
Warwick Valley Quad boys 5K: Cornwall went 1-2; Monroe-Woodbury's Erik Escarcega Tellez and Leonidas Gowrie finished 3-4; Warwick's Alex Kobrick was 5th.
Warwick Valley Quad girls 5K: Monroe-Woodbury went 1-2 with Olivia Heim and Kaylee Chang; Cornwall's Madeline Larkin and Kassandra Enos followed in 3rd and 4th.
Wave Mania Varsity I: Warwick won the team title. Leo Shostal won in 15:35.3; Goshen's Jackson St. Lawrence (16:04.1) and Shaun Brenner (16:17.7) were 2nd and 3rd, and Beacon's Travis Dickston (16:51.5) was 4th.
Wave Mania Varsity I: Kingston won the team title over Monroe-Woodbury. Scarsdale's Adriana Pettinelli won individually; Monroe-Woodbury's Olivia Heim was 2nd, with Kingston's Charlotte McFarland and Maeve Paul 3rd and 4th.
Mount Academy XC Invitational
Section IX gets an early look at Mount Academy’s all-grass Esopus course — the announced site of the 2026 Section IX championship race on Nov. 3.

Five Runners Build the Score.
A team’s first five finishers produce its scoring total. Lower is better. Sixth and seventh runners can also matter by displacing opponents and changing the points available behind them.
Queensbury Is the Finish Line.
The 2026 NYSPHSAA Cross Country Championships are scheduled for Sunday, November 15 at Queensbury High School, with boys and girls state races across Classes A through D.
