Sources & Methodology

KOT845’s Section IX football archive is built to preserve local football history as structured, searchable data. A major foundation is the long-running Section Nine Football archive hosted on TeamPages, whose contributors documented scores, standings, champions, coaching records, postseason results and individual records for decades.

Phil Dusenbury

Longtime Section Nine Football editor and historian. The source archive credits Dusenbury with compiling championship history and substantial sectional research.

Rich Arnott

Section Nine Football webmaster and historical updater. Arnott has maintained and updated numerous archive datasets and records.

KOT845 archive policy: historical facts are normalized, checked and rebuilt into KOT845’s own database structure. We do not treat another outlet’s authored stories, photography or original prose as ours. Where inherited historical research materially contributes to a dataset, the source and researchers are credited. As KOT845 independently verifies and extends records, the database will identify the applicable cutoff and methodology.
