2021 Section IX Boys Basketball Season
The 2020–21 winter was an abbreviated COVID-era basketball season. Section IX teams played limited schedules, but no Section IX boys basketball champions were awarded and there was no NYSPHSAA state championship tournament.
Archive rule: 2021 counts as a played season but not a championship season. KOT845 will preserve team records and notable games where they can be verified, while title-streak and championship-drought calculations skip 2021 as a no-champion year rather than treating it as a normal tournament loss.
